Accountancy

The HND program in accountancy aims at training accounting technicians capable of providing assistance to : the accountant in the collection and processing of informmation towards the preparation of final accounts for internal and external purposes, the management of costs abd decision making information, the management of audit evidence and supervision during internal audit activities, the accounting/ auditing information and evidence which lead to the auditor verifying and forming on opinion, the accounting and management in writing out taxation matter. The holder of an HND can be the accountant ; the management controller ; financial director ; payroll manager ; treasurer an entreprise.
